The Northern Neck Hidden History Trail, a project of MACorp. Inc., is advancing the Legacy of Juneteenth through storytelling, song, and community.
Juneteenth invites all of us—regardless of background—to honor a deeper understanding of freedom, resilience, and unity. Commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, this day reminds us that the promise of liberty is not just a moment in history, but an ongoing journey we share as Americans. This year’s event is on Saturday, June 14 at Ma Margaret’s House B&B in Reedville. Our keynote Speaker is Cassandra Newby-Alexander a renowned Historian and Author and the main entertainment is Roberta Lea, an award winning County singer and entertainer- you won’t want to miss it!
