63rd Annual MSMA Pony Express

Every year, the Michigan Sheriff's Mounted Association holds the Pony Express event. It moves around throughout the supporting counties to help raise money for a family deserving of a little help. The event is not comprised of a single event, but a multitude of events including: The Pony Express event where, like in times past, letters were carried by horseback still occurs within this event. Other events include all the mounted divisions participating in a local parade and then with a horse show. The horse show includes a variety of horse races of all ages. Then the event wraps up with a silent auction. All the money raised in this event goes directly to the recipient family to help with their medical costs. The main image here details a little bit of this years recipient. If you find that you cannot attend, your thoughts and prayers would still be welcomed.
