Welcome! We hope you can join us for our upcoming event. We have a lot planned. Read below all of the fun and exciting things we have planned.
1. This event is mainly designed to serve as an adoption event. We have a lot of interest in our kittens for adoption as everyone loves a kitten (or puppy), however our adult cats & dogs are often times overlooked for no fault of their own. So, this is why we are offering a special adoption special only on our adult cats & dogs. We hope this 'adults only' deal will entice people to open their hearts to our adult cats and dogs.
2. Fundraiser - our funds are stretched so thin now with 40+ cats and 5 dogs in our care. Our resources are limited, our funding is limited and we need to be cautious about every penny that goes out the door. We are very respectful and considerate knowing our donors work extremely hard for their money and feel honored when they choose us as a recipient. Our mission is simple: to provide a safe haven for animals who need it in hopes of finding their forever home. We cannot thank you enough for supporting our mission.
3. Meet & Greet- we want to be more open and transparent with the public about our operations, our staff, our animals, our day to day, etc. Come say hi and learn more about us!
4. Food - we have a delicious food truck coming serving up delicious tacos and various Mexican cuisine. Food will be available for purchase.
5. Games & Activities - we will have Kate Siegel on site offering her artistic skill with face painting. We will have an array of face painting designs to choose from ranging from $1 to $5. These funds will go to support the shelter. We will also have various games such as bean bag toss and photo selfie station to take selfies with our adult cats!
We hope you will join us and help us find homes for our furry friends, eat some delicious food and partake in some of the fun!
