Author talk, storytime and craft

Come and enjoy a special talk from John McWilliams, the author of the beautiful book The Good Ship True Love.

The book tells the true story of Mr Ellis and the boat he built in his Cornish back yard in 1906. He was old, poor and alone but with the help of his community built it from old planks and orange boxes.

There will be a talk from John about the story that inspired the book, a book reading and a related craft after the talk.

Aimed at children aged 4-9 years old, but all ages welcome. This is a free, drop-in event, no booking required. All children under the age of 12 need to accompanied by an adult please.
