Join us as we celebrate the 32nd annual 4th of July 5k and Firecracker Dash in Redondo Beach at 8:00am presented by UCLA Health! All participants will receive an Independence Day run t-shirt. There will be chip timing, age division awards, and cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5k run. All kids dash finishers receive medals too!

Packet pickup for your race bib and shirt will be held the following dates and locations:
July 3rd: Noon to 6pm at Rock & Brews in Redondo Beach (just a block away from Village Runner).

The Firecracker Dash for the Gold heats are separated by age groups and start approximately at the times listed below.
9:30am Ages 8-9, Distance: 1/4 Mile
9:40am Ages 6-7, Distance: 1/4 Mile
9:45am Ages 4-5, Distance: “Dash”

Costume Contest
We will be having a Costume Contest at the stage in the Coffee Cartel parking lot from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Please enter with your patriotic best for a chance to win the following prizes:
1st Place – $100 gift certificate to the Village Runner
2nd Place – $75 gift certificate to the Village Runner
3rd Place – $50 gift certificate to the Village Runner
Benefits
Celebrate and give back to our local students. The Village Runner Independence Day 5K directly benefits the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools and running programs. A portion of YOUR registration fee from this race goes to these deserving groups each year.
