Acts of Kindness, a play by Gregory Ramos

Acts of Kindness is a theatrical montage inspired by interviews in El Paso Texas in the year after a mass shooting at a Walmart which claimed the lives of twenty-three innocent people. Told through a multitude of different characters and documentary information the play grapples with gun control the divided political landscape and the ongoing issue of immigration in America. Heartfelt engrossing and intimate the play is a tribute to victims and survivors of the event and a cautionary tale about gun violence in America. Against the most traumatic of events a community rises to reach for collective healing and an understanding of our shared humanity.
