Suitable for: 🟢 🔵 Adventurous beginner riders and above - comfortable with green trails and moving into blue trails or comfortable with blue trails. Rides are usually 15-18km in length and will always be tailored to the level of riders in the group, so don’t feel you’ll be holding others back. However, the ride is not suitable for absolute beginners.
Location: Bayview Conservation Area has some hills (we don't usually do the really steep ones) and some flowy trails with most being rooty, winding, bushy trails that have more natural than created features. It's a beautiful and diverse natural environment.
Time: Rollout is 2pm sharp - so please be ready a few minutes earlier for a pre-ride briefing.
Bring: Auscycling Insurance (see below for more details), water/electrolytes, snacks, sunscreen, tools, helmet, capable MTB and your sense of humour 🤣.

Insurance and Membership: All riders must have AusCycling insurance, you are covered if you are a member of the RATS or another affiliated MTB or cycling club. If not, get a free trial AusCycling licence here, which will cover you for a few rides:
