Worded Problems Workshop (Age 9-11)

Children will be guided through 4 stages to help them answer maths problems, building their confidence to become a fearless mathematicians.

About this Event

When it comes to word problems, translating a written phrase into a mathematical expression is the top area of difficulty for children between ages 9-11. This workshop will help children to:

Solve addition and subtraction multi-step problems in contexts, deciding which operations and methods to use and why.
Solve problems involving multiplication and division.
Solve problems involving using decimal notation up to three decimal places where appropriate.
