I am honored to share that my latest work, Salt in the Soil, premieres Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Eliza Howell Park in Detroit.
This piece lives at the intersection of rhythm, and nostalgia. It reunites me with longtime collaborators in a sacred space of sound and storytelling. Together, we’ve created something that feels like a healing for us, for the tradition, and for the audience who joins us.

Salt in the Soil features tap dance, sand dance, and live music inspired by Detroit’s jazz and sonic legacy. It’s a prayer, a planting, and a public offering.

This is an outdoor performance in the heart of Eliza Howell Park. Plan for comfort so you can fully enjoy the experience.
✔ Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating
✔ Wear something comfortable for the summer weather
✔ Bug spray is your best friend, the rhythm isn’t the only thing in the air :)
