Desert Adaptations Hike (Night Hike)

Join us for a night hike as we explore how plants, animals, and even people have adapted to the desert for thousands of years!

Explore the Las Burras trail with a park ranger to learn about how all types of living things have adapted to the desert, especially at night! We will be scorpion spotting as well as spider snuffing, plus learn some misconceptions about creepy crawlers. Hike is about 2miles round trip.

Bring: Water, flashlights or red flashlights.

Wear: Comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes.

Meet: At the Las Burras Trailhead

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
