The Shasta Historical Society is thrilled to announce our next month's event, a fascinating look into the history and vibrant future of one of Redding's cultural cornerstones: the Riverfront Playhouse!
Join us on Saturday, July 12th, for a special production by the incredible Charley Williams titled "Riverfront Playhouse: Past, Present, and Future." This unique event will delve into the rich history of the Riverfront Playhouse, which has been Redding's longest continually operating, all-volunteer community theater since 1981.
Charley Williams will lead us through the Playhouse's journey, and we'll be honored to have a distinguished panel of guests sharing their insights and experiences: Marla Frost, Lisa Collins, and Ronda Alvey. These individuals have been instrumental in shaping the Riverfront Playhouse into the beloved institution it is today.
