Colours from nature. These beauties will be available from next Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August at the inaugural #qldyarnfest which is being held on our doorstep, at the Redcliffe Show grounds. Gold coin entry. Doors open 9am-4pm.
I've been cooking up a storm, and dyeing a variety of yarns with botanical dyes. The photos are of 8ply Polwarth yarn 225m per 100gm skein.
I'll also have some 4ply Merino yarn, 4ply sock yarn and dyed roving and tussah silk for the spinners.
All my yarns and roving are hand dyed by moi in small batches.
I'm dyeing to show you all the gorgeous colours that I've cooked up.
Don't forget that I'll also have a variety of locally hand turned spindles, yarn bowls, crochet hook sets and sewing tools for you to choose from.
