Caring roles often stretch across many domains - physical tasks, emotional support, advocacy, coordination, and countless invisible responsibilities that can easily go unnoticed. Gaining a clearer picture of the full scope of what you do each day allows you to manage your time, energy, and expectations with greater confidence.
Equally important is learning to recognise your own internal signals which often appear long before burnout does. These cues can help you identify when you need rest, support, or a shift in routine. The workshop also encourages reflection on how you typically respond to challenges, pressures, or unexpected changes, helping you uncover patterns and develop healthier, more sustainable coping strategies.
By deepening your awareness of both your role and your reactions, you can strengthen your resilience, maintain your wellbeing, and continue caring in a way that feels balanced, intentional, and sustainable.
Please note: You must be registered with Carer Gateway to attend (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
If you have trouble registering for this session, please contact us at 1800 422 737.
