Cardboard creatures will be coming to life this summer thanks to creative people like you!
Do you have a little one who loves getting crafty and making art? Do they love animals, and want to see them thriving in the local environment? Have they ever wanted to see their artwork in a museum?
This July and August families can come along and get crafty, turning cardboard into bugs, insects and creepy crawlies which will be exhibited later this year in The Pop Up Cardboard Museum Of Natural History From The Future.
The Pop Up Cardboard Museum Of Natural History From The Future will be popping up around Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland later this year and this is your chance to be part of building it, and have your work displayed for all of the visitors to the museum.
You’ll also help us spread an important message about species that are at risk of going extinct, and how human behaviour can impact their chances of survival. Can we change the future together through crafting with sustainable materials? Can we make more people aware of their own impact? Can we change things for the better and save our at-risk species?
We’ll need you to join us to find out. Come along ready to get crafty and have some fun.
The workshop is free to attend, drop-in anytime, with no pre-booking required.
Can't join us at Between The Tides? Don't worry, we'll also be get crafty at:
Orange Pip Market on Saturday 26th July 10am - 6pm
