It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since the homegoing of our Founding Pastor, Jonathan D. Coe, who faithfully led Lone Star Cowboy Church from July 16, 2006, until July 16, 2024. His leadership and the love he and his wife, Mary Morse, poured into this church continue to bless us today.
To honor their legacy, we will be moving their picture to a special place in the hallway, which will become our Hall of Dedication for Pastors. A commemorative plaque will be placed beneath their photo as a lasting tribute.
In addition, we will be dedicating three trees just outside the church—one in memory of Pastor Jon, one for Mary, and one symbolizing the church they helped build and nurture.
We invite everyone to join us for this time of remembrance and gratitude on Sunday, September 28, 2025, immediately following the service. We’ll come together in gratitude, speak words of tribute, and enjoy a time of fellowship. As part of the celebration, right after the dedication, we will also be having an Eating Meeting—so bring your appetite and your memories as we honor the legacy and love that helped shape Lone Star Cowboy Church.
