This month, the Tehama County EAC will be hosting our Wage & Hour presentation: Most Common Wage Violations. Join us as we learn how to avoid misclassifying employees and learn the difference between salary and salary-exempt. We will go over workdays and workweeks, paid sick leave, minimum wage violations, and more.
Von A. Boyenger is a Senior Deputy Labor Commissioner for the State of California and has over 30 years of experience in the area of Administrative Hearings and Claims Management. Von leads the Business Engagement Program (BEP) Team and is the liaison for DLSE/EDD seminars/webinars statewide. Von has been a past President/CEO for Employer's Advantage, Inc., a national Unemployment Insurance Management Claims Service. Von's experience includes having represented Fortune 500 Companies in a multitude of labor related matters. He also has over 25 years of Executive Human Resource experience specializing in Situational HR and holds a Certificate to conduct Mediations and Arbitrations from UC Hastings Law School, San Francisco.
