Join us to turn the wheel of the year once again as we gather to celebrate Yule. Yule is often confused with the winter solstice, but the former is a season while the latter is a precise moment in time. Come and celebrate with us the longest night and welcome back the light and the promise of new life as we welcome the Child of Light. For Saxon Pagans, the Yuletide usually starts on Mother’s Night (the solstice) and continues for a week or two after.
After the ritual, we will play some games and exchange gifts. Please bring with you any items that you would like to re-home to be placed on the Giving Blanket, a wrapped gag gift (no more than $5 of value or homemade) so that we can play a fun game and your Holly King Exchange Gift (if you chose to participate in the exchange).
The doors will open at 5:15pm, and our ritual will commence promptly at 5:45 pm at that time, the doors will be closed to entry, so please be on time. There will be a feast after the ritual, and you are welcome to join us. If you would like to bring something to share for the Feast, you can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B4EA9AF28A2FE3-57574346-yule
