On the 1st of October we’re bringing you a special eclectic but cohesive lineup of electrifying bands, featuring:
Oyama - “With a reputation as one of Reykjavík’s finest rock bands. Their sound is rooted in the shoegaze of the 90s, and their music pivots between soothing, airy dream pop and fuzzy, psychedelic noise rock. The band reaches high sonic peaks and awakens deep sensations with its mixture of spacious, noisy soundscapes, tender vocal harmonies, and lyrics built on a solid foundation of teen angst and enduring friendship.” (Iceland Airwaves)
Otala - Fire! To The River, the band's most ambitious project yet, was released on the 20th February. The 7 track EP sees them engage more intimately with post-rock and ambience, leaving rich, sprawling soundscapes in the wake of the meditative pockets of jazz-rock they've become known for.
KiosK- Blending heavy dance beats with analog synthesis and experimental effects-driven bass, art-pop duo Kiosk unload a fresh delivery of noisy electronic music from the Leeds DIY scene.
