On Saturday, May 23rd, the Wyomissing community will gather once again to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Please join us for Wyomissing’s Annual Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony at Wyomissing Hills Memorial Park & Playground — a meaningful tradition rooted in gratitude, remembrance, and community unity.
The Parade will assemble and stage in the Wyomissing Hills Elementary School parking lot and step off promptly at 10:00 am.
Following the parade, a solemn Memorial Service will be held at the memorial, offering a time for reflection and tribute to those who served and sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
We encourage all Wyomissing residents to display the American flag with pride — on this day and throughout Memorial Day Weekend — as a shared symbol of respect for our nation’s fallen heroes.
Community participation is at the heart of this tradition. Residents, community groups, and local organizations are invited to take part in the parade. Families are welcome, and children are encouraged to join the procession with decorated bikes, scooters, or wagons filled with patriotic spirit.
Those interested in participating in the parade may contact Randy McKinley at

When the ceremony concludes, stay awhile and enjoy the park with family and neighbors as we continue Wyomissing’s long-standing tradition of honoring our heroes together.
If needed, we've set the Monday, May 25th as the rain date.
