ROBERT BURNS NIGHT Pot Luck Supper & Celebration—
Please join us to celebrate the Scottish poet Robert Burns’ birthday again this year! You are cordially invited to the Readfield Community Library’s annual Burns Night Celebration, which will include a POT LUCK SUPPER on Saturday, January 24 (Burns’ birthday) from 6:00-8:00pm at Gile Hall/Readfield Town Office, 8 Old Kents Hill Rd., Readfield.

Please bring a Pot Luck dish to share (Scottish in nature, if you’d like), and be ready to enjoy a participatory evening of poems, ceremony, music, and food celebrating the life and work of Scottish poet Robert Burns. This is a free event open to all ages; the event space on the 2nd floor may be accessed by stairs or elevator. Beverages will be provided (coffee, tea, mulled cider, water). Feel free to add to the festivities by wearing optional Highland/tartan attire, kilts, etc.
