Expect an evening packed with local talent and original and emerging music from exciting, local bands the High Nines, Shoehorn and Atlas.
This months headliners are the High Nines. The High Nines are an alternative rock band from Manchester and Rossendale. Fuelled by influences such as The Stone Roses, BMRC, Kasabian ,The Music and Joy Division; The High Nines have merged and evolved these ideas to create their own artistic vision.
From their early days of performing in intimate venues to selling out iconic spaces like the Manchester Academy and Gorilla, the band have become known for their high-energy, compelling live performances.
The band have caught the attention of music critics and industry insiders alike, earning them features in the NME, Manchester United’s match day programme and half time airplay at the stadium during a premier league game. In 2023, The High Nines released their highly anticipated 4-track EP, "Echoes" which had over 100,000 streams across all platforms.
Due to the success of the EP, the band have since released 4 singles and are currently in the process of recording their 1st studio album. Plus sets from Atlas - last years Battle of the Bands winners and super talented, indie 5 piece return to the venue for another set of their own indie infused, alt rock, catchy songs.
Ramsbottom/ Bury based Indie Band ‘Shoehorn’ also complete the line up, the ever- popular, bright young things will bring their unique brand of punk infused anthemic indie anthems back to our stage for another riotous live set.
