About the event

May Working Party and VE Day 80th Anniversary Commemoration
Our next working day is Saturday 10th May which falls at the end of a week of celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
We have been fortunate to received a grant from Rossendale Borough Council to host an event which will be taking place on that day.
Please join us to learn about the our brave Haslingden men who never came home and pay tribute to the four servicemen from the Second World War buried in our cemetery.
The exhibition will feature a tribute to the Men of Haslingden who gave their lives for their Country 1939-1945.
Refreshments will be served so please come along and join us on this special day. 10am - 4pm.
