Charlestown Summer Festival & Cruise In

THE 22ND ANNUAL CHARLESTOWN SUMMER FESTIVAL AND CRUISE IN is here!! The Activity Committee has been busy organizing this FUN, FREE,FAMILY EVENT. So plan to come on up to the township park at the end of Rock Spring Road on SATURDAY, AUGUST 2, beginning at 3:00 until 7:00. Make sure to get the kids there by 4:00 when the popular OUTBACK RAY and HIS AMAZING ANIMALS will entertain under the pavilion. Also, MAGIC BY KEL will perform at 5:30. There will be a climbing wall and inflatable activities for all ages, school supplies give away, an animal rescue and raffle baskets with a family pass for a year to the Akron Zoo as the center of the Grand Prize raffle. Then there is the Cruise In! Open to all makes and models, cars, trucks or motorcycles, the setting is shady and cool. To participate, just show up beginning at 2:00 to 3:00, park and enjoy a fun afternoon. Prizes will be awarded. Food and beverages will be available to purchase by TLC Catering, serving a variety of sandwiches and sides, Honey Bean Coffee will serve cold and hot beverages and the Dreamsicle Ice Cream truck serve a variety of tasty treats. It's a great way to spend a summer afternoon!
