Dramatic /Comedy: Set in a Scottish mental institution in 2013, the play reveals hope and joy in the fragile beauty of the human heart. When middle-aged man, Eddie McKenna arrives to reinvigorate Saint Jude‘s defunct hospital radio station, he and the patients do more than turn a ramshackle station into a deeply moving, painful, yet positive experience for everyone. Fighting against his own midlife crisis, drinking and self-loathing, Eddie befriends the people needing help for their own illnesses and mental health. Eddie and the misunderstood patients of Saint Jude strive for their dreams, to be called "normal" and accepted beyond the stigma of those struggling with mental health.
