Sunrise Hike

No flashlight required.

Arrive 5:25 am or slightly before that time

We are hiking on the trail by 5:30 am. Late arrivals you are on your own

We finish roughly at 6:30 am

1 hour

3 miles
under 400ft elevation gain and drop.
The trail is up and down several hills. If you have not a hiker or a slow hiker this may be difficult for you.


Rancho Mirage City Hall on the Big Horn/Chuckwalla Overlook Trail.

Dog Friendly, but please leash, and clean up after. Must be people and other dog friendly.



We meet at the Upper Parking Lot at Rancho Mirage City.

This seems to confuse people. Just drive into the Rancho Mirage City Hall. Once there Call me at 760-408-8237. if you can't find us. (Jason)

We finish close to 6:30 am.
Join us after the hike at IW Coffee Indian Wells Cook and Hwy 111

The Rules

No discussions of Politics or Religion. If you have attitude then sleep in. We do these morning hikes to escape the real world and connect with each other and nature.

Some people get self conscious about their hiking abilities. Talk with me and we can decide if you start with the shorter route and build up your endurance.
