RMWF Writers Series Presents Emily Winstein

Emily Weinstein is the Food and Cooking editor of The New York Times, including The Times’s recipe app, NYT Cooking.

She is also the author of the popular New York Times recipe newsletter Five Weeknight Dishes and NYT Cooking’s first-ever cookbook, Easy Weeknight Dinners. She was part of a team that received a James Beard Foundation Award in 2018 for innovative storytelling in food. Weinstein graduated from Vassar College and holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University.

In Easy Weeknight Dinners, Weinstein has curated some of the greatest hits—100 favorite dishes that you can make in as little as 10 minutes— from trusted writers Melissa Clark, Eric Kim, Yewande Komolafe, Ali Slagle, and more, served with mouth-watering photos and notes from the NYT Cooking community.
