Advanced Relief Carving

Relief carving has been a part of woodworking for centuries and all woodworkers can improve their carving skills in this advanced class. The instructor will focus on classic relief patterns like shells, acanthus leafage, and scrolls. Students will work on several different patterns that each require different techniques and tricks to complete. They will also cover tool care and sharpening.
Prerequisites: Basic Relief Carving class or basic carving skills
Tools Required: Store & Instructor will provide tools, but bring any carving tools you may own
Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Cost: $150.00
