Slow Looking in the Galleries with Gregg Museum Director Sara Segerlin

In collaboration with Arts Village, the Gregg Museum of Art & Design will offer a "slow-looking" tour of current exhibitions.

Studies have found that visitors at art galleries spend an average of eight seconds looking at each work on display, but what happens when we spend five minutes,15 minutes, an hour or an afternoon really looking in detail at an artwork?

This tour invites participants to slow down, reflect, and form a more personal connection to the art they are experiencing.
