In this follow-up class to Sewing Level 1, students will get instruction & practice on sewing straight seams, using a rotary cutter & ruler to cut fabric, and have the opportunity to play with color, print, and pattern while making fun fabric choices. Even if you haven't touched a sewing machine since your Sewing Level 1 class, this session is for you!
Our goal with these classes is to help you work up to projects such as bag making, quilting, or garment sewing, that might feel a little intimidating right now. The best way to grow your skills is to practice, make mistakes, and try again! We design our classes to be low-key and low-stakes, so you can learn with as little stress as possible. Because above all, we think crafting should be fun!
This class is open to students age 12+.
Class Requirements
Prerequisite: Sewing Level 1 at Craft Habit, or equivalent experience.
Students must be comfortable setting up & threading a sewing machine
Cancellation Policy
Class registrations are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in class. Please let us know their name in advance of class starting.
Classes cancelled by Craft Habit WILL be refunded in full.
Sewing machine, thread, scrap fabric, and a sewing toolkit are all provided for use in class.
