Please join us for our annual Pollinator Field Day, planned for August 22nd, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, at the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh.
Come learn about pollinators and the native habitat they rely on for survival. This is an interactive day where you will count and catch insects with nets (if you choose!), talk with experts, make seed bombs, and learn about conservation and community science projects.
We will have many educational booths hosted by the NC Pollinator Conservation Alliance, Bee City - Raleigh, NCSU Applied Ecology Department, Wake County Beekeepers Association, Wake County Master Gardeners, NC Wildlife Federation, NC Botanical Garden, NC Wildlife Resources Commission, the NC Department of Agriculture, the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, Duke Gardens, and more!
We will have presentations about native container gardening, native backyard gardening, and native planting on a large scale.
There will be light refreshments as well as native plants to send home with participants. This is a FREE event, and all are welcome to attend. You won't want to miss it!
