About the Artists –
🎶 In 2005 six friends were brought together via a love of Hip-Hop Music. They all attended NC State and decided to start a Hip Hop Organization (H2O) so they could use University funds and buildings to promote Hip-Hop Events for all the elements. Upon graduation some of the original members of the H2O wanted to pursue their Hip Hop dreams and Kooley High was created. Charlie Smarts, Tab-One, Rapsody, Sinopsis, Foolery, and DJ ill Digitz made their first mixtape "Raleigh's Finest" and after that, they were hooked. While making Raleigh's Finest, the crew were introduced to 9th Wonder. He would help the crew through advice and beats from time to time. 9th Wonder produced 2 beats on the Kooley High's first EP The Summer Sessions in 2007. 9th noticed Rapsody and went on to work on several albums together on Jamla Records. Fast Forward to 2019 and Kooley High is still together making dope Hip Hop Music. Kooley's latest album Never Come Down is executive produced by 9th Wonder and features original member Rapsody as well.

Her musical journey has been marked by acclaim and recognition, including reaching the Semi-Finals of Season 3 of American Idol, earning widespread praise for her prowess as a vocalist, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Charly has harmonized with a constellation of esteemed luminaries within the musical firmament, sharing stages and studios with Grammy laureates and cultural icons like Rhiannon Giddens, Pura Fé, and Rissi Palmer, solidifying her status as an indomitable force within the auditory realm.
