Fall African American Walking Tours!

It's time for our next round of Walking Tours, just in time for the cooler Autumn weather!

Explore one of Raleigh's oldest and most influential Black neighborhoods, the Third Ward, starting at the M. T. Pope House, and walking to Shaw University and north along Blount Street towards the historic Tupper Memorial Baptist Church, Prince Hall Masonic Lodge and Lincoln Theater!

The Third Ward was a thriving community of culture, enterprise, and education, and our tour guides will share with you the history of notable locations in the neighborhood as well as historical and cultural context.

📌 Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 20 - Dec. 21
📌 Saturdays: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
📌 Sundays: 2 p.m.
📌 Ages: All
📌 Cost: $10 per adult and $5 per child (ages 5-17)
