Brother Outsider: Film Screening and Discussion
Come join us for a special event featuring a screening of the documentary film Brother Outsider followed by a thought-provoking discussion.
This film is a follow-up to our Finlator Lecture Series which highlighted various civil rights activists, including Bayard Rustin. The documentary combines rare archival footage — some of it never before broadcast in the U.S. — with provocative interviews to illuminate the life and work of Bayard Rustin, a forgotten prophet of social change. We will follow the movie with a brief discussion, particularly on Rustin's Quaker spirituality.
