BASK:
Asheville’s genre-bending torchbearers return with The Turning—a sweeping, psychedelic blend of Appalachian grit, prog ambition, and cosmic country. Forged through personal trials, natural disasters, and a pandemic pause, The Turning is Bask’s most heartfelt and adventurous record yet.
Known for sharing the stage with the likes of Elder, High on Fire, and Weedeater, Bask straddles the line between sludge and soul, banjo and blast beats, pedal steel and psychedelia. With soaring vocals, dynamic songwriting, and a sound that’s distinctly their own, the band continues to evolve—refusing to be boxed in.
The Turning tells a surreal tale of cosmic outlaws, time travel, and rebirth, but its emotional core—family, loss, perseverance—hits close to home. Catch Bask as they bring their mountain-forged sound to the stage in a set that’s equal parts thunderous and transcendent.
Napalm Cruiser:
