Five Door Sedan is a progressive indie rock band from Charleston, South Carolina, known for tight rhythms, deep lyrics, and passionate playing that make them a powerhouse of musicality. With a sound that blends emotionally driven songwriting, layered textures, and dynamic arrangements, their music sits comfortably between raw indie energy and polished instrumental precision.
In their debut year, Five Door Sedan has relentlessly toured the Southeast and Midwest, performing for hundreds of music lovers in college towns like Athens, Gainesville, Boone, Savannah, Indianapolis, Nashville, Jacksonville, Columbia, and their hometown of Charleston. Their high-energy shows and emotionally resonant songs have quickly earned them a reputation for connecting deeply with audiences both on and off stage.
The band released their debut album, Detour, on November 15, 2024, and has been on the road supporting it ever since. The record showcases the group’s range—from introspective, slow-burning moments to explosive, full-band climaxes.
