Laupäeval, 9. augustil kell 12:00 toimub ajaloolise Narva-Jõesuu tuletorni juures Polina Tšerkassova kontsert-jutustus „Muinaslood majaka juures — legendid mereretkedest, valgusest ja vaprusest“.
Miks tulla?
Polina on Eesti jutuvestja, multiinstrumentalist ja antropoloog. Tema reisikohvris on kamele ngoni, kalimba, pärsia setar, eesti kannel ja kümneid haruldasi pille kogu maailmast. Ta põimib elava sõna harukordse helikeelega, muutes iga loo filmilikuks rännakuks. Tema debüütalbum Singing Stories oli nomineeritud Eesti aastapreemiale kirjanduse valdkonnas. Polina esineb eesti, vene ja inglise keeles, ühendades eri vanuses kuulajaid.

В субботу, 9 августа в 12:00, у исторического маяка Нарва-Йыэсуу состоится концерт-история Полины Черкассовой «Сказки у маяка — легенды о морских странствиях, свете и отваге».

Полина — эстонская сказительница, мультиинструменталистка и антрополог. В её дорожной сокровищнице — кямеле нгони, калимбы, персидский сетар, эстонский каннель и десятки редких инструментов, собранных по всему миру. Она соединяет живое слово с необычным звучанием, превращая каждый рассказ в кинематографическое путешествие. Её дебютный аудиоальбом Singing Stories был номинирован на ежегодную литературную премию Эстонии, а выступления Полины звучат на русском, эстонском и английском языках, объединяя зрителей всех возрастов.

On Saturday, August 9 at 12:00 PM, join us by the historic lighthouse in Narva-Jõesuu for Polina Tšerkassova’s story-concert “Fairy Tales by the Lighthouse — Legends of Sea Voyages, Light, and Courage.”
Why come?
Polina is an Estonian storyteller, multi-instrumentalist, and anthropologist. In her travelling treasure chest are the kamale ngoni, kalimbas, Persian setar, Estonian kannel, and dozens of rare instruments from around the world. She blends spoken word with unique soundscapes, turning each tale into a cinematic journey. Her debut album Singing Stories was nominated for Estonia’s annual literary prize. Polina performs in Estonian, Russian, and English — uniting audiences of all ages.
What to expect?
Tales of brave seafarers, the light of the lighthouse, and the strength of the human heart. A living weave of story and sound to the rhythm of the waves. After the concert, enjoy a warm encounter with the artist — see the rare instruments and ask questions.
