Our aim at Midsomer Veterinary Centre is to not make a penny in profit for the day…. All proceeds from this event will go to our local independent charity of the year ‘Compassion For Cats’ based in Oakhill not far from us. We are independent and proud of that fact, hence we wanted team up with another local independent charity to make them our charity of the year.
There will be many fun activities planned for the day, with the aim to make as much money for Compassion for Cats as possible.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake will be available at a small price of £1 per drink or slice of cake (all proceeds to the charity)
Practice tours will be available at 14:00pm and 15:00pm from our practice owner ‘Sir’ Laurence Webb’ (‘Sir’he wishes…. 😂😂😂)
Our Midsomer ‘Crufts’ also known as Muff’s will take place on the day from 14:00pm entrance categories will be announced nearer the time. There will be 6 categories £1 per animal to enter per category (Again no profits made by us) however each winner will receive a special gift and a prize funded by ‘Laurence’. Our final category of the event will be ‘Midsomer’s Pet of the year’ this will be £5 to enter and will be featured in the Mendip Times plus will win a star prize… again all proceeds going to ‘Compassion for cats’
The first 50 cat owners on the day and first 50 dog owners on the day will receive Midsomer Veterinary Centre goodie bag 🐾🐾🐾🐾
We also have an amazing raffle planned for the day with what can only be described as some phenomenal prizes donated by some amazing local businesses.
After all this excitement you may need a munch Go Greek will be joining us alongside Marshfields ice creams (Human and Dogs) to help cater for your hunger needs.
On a final note,we wish to see many of our current clients and new clients on the day. Our aim is to collaborate with you all to help raise as much money as possible for a charity locally who really needs our support.
