Physiotherapists see a lot of skin during their working days so are well placed to recognise skin cancers and refer on. This could save someone's life.

Speaker: Dr Nick Buist

I am a GP working part-time at Kitchener Rd Medical Centre in Milford and Skin Check in Takapuna. The first 8 years of medical career involved acute hospital-based care, in Auckland, Northland and Hawke's Bay. I moved into general practice in 2022 and began further training in skin cancer medicine in 2023. I live on the North Shore with my wife and two young daughters.
