What do a 1970s disco dress, a Victory Suit from WWII, and a Lion King T-shirt from 1994 have in common? For Gabi, they’re more than clothes — they’re stories of womanhood, worn by those who came before her.
Known by an audience of over 2 million online, Gabi Jones (of @Gabis_Vintage) brings her viral fashion videos to life on stage in this funny, moving, and deeply personal one-woman show!
Blending personal storytelling, cultural commentary, and vintage fashion history, What We Wore unpacks what we carry through generations: body image, societal expectation, love, rage, and resilience. From her 8th grade public speaking contest to losing her mom at 22, Gabi traces the threads of inherited trauma, feminine identity, and the unbreakable bond between women and their ancestors.
