From health care and transit to housing and pollution, the question at the heart of our nation's most pressing concerns is: do our communities love our children? Research shows what we know intuitively—given the right supports, every child can thrive and succeed.

Cities can lead the way.

In the Schott Foundation’s new Loving Cities Index report, we examine 15 cities across the country along a wide range of factors — from the opportunities provided in the classroom to access to clean air and healthy foods — to paint a picture of how much each city loves its children and to provide clear paths to improvement.

You're invited to a collaborative conversation on what’s possible in this moment, and how our cities can build an equitable and just future for our children. Policymakers, advocates, and funders are especially encouraged to attend.
