The Great River Eagle Days Winter Gathering in Quincy, Illinois will take place on January 24–25, 2025 from 10 AM-5 PM. The event will celebrate the return of the bald eagle with ceremonies, entertainment, and eagle viewing.
Eagle viewing
View bald eagles in their natural setting at Lock and Dam 21. Rangers from the US Army Corps of Engineers will be on site to help with eagle spotting 9 AM-2 PM.
Entertainment
Enjoy performances by Hoop Dancer Clifton Hall, Native dancers, and flute players.
Educational activities
Participate in activities for all ages, including educational activities for children.
Food and crafts
Try Native American food and crafts, including Indian fry bread and Indian tacos.
Sacred ceremonies
Experience sacred ceremonies that honor Native American traditions surrounding bald eagles.

Admission
Admission is free for children 10 and under, $8 for ages 11 and up, and $5 for those over 60.
