This workshop will be an introduction to avalanche awareness, decision-making in the mountains and cover a few beginner backcountry touring spots around Queenstown. Join us for an insightful evening, meet other tourers in the area and learn about how to approach skiing in the backcountry.

The night will be hosted by IFMGA MOUNTAIN & SKI GUIDE guide, owner of Queenstown Mountain Guides Mike Madden.

Whether you're a beginner ski tourer, or seasoned pro this is a great chance to get together with the backcountry community.
