The Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. continues in our mission to uplift and expand the strength and resilience of the Queens community. We are excited to announce an upcoming historic event that will take place at 12PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, when unveiled at the corner of 192nd Street and 110th Road, a new street sign will be dedicated as: Theresa Irene Merritt Hines Way, in commemoration of Tony Nominated Actor, Honorary Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and former Queens Alumnae Member:
Theresa Irene Merritt Hines.
Celebratory Luncheon thereafter.
