Nick Biello Trio

Nick Biello’s chordless trio is a venerable unit that showcases the saxophonist’s music in an open, free environment. Always exploratory, full of daring and risk taking, yet firmly rooted in the rhythmic propulsion of swing, Biello’s chordless trio features mainstay Alex Tremblay on bass as well as longtime collaborator Jake Robinson on drums. Nick has recorded several albums as a leader, one of which is a trio record on La Reserve Records entitled “Between Light and Shadow.”
