Get ready to immerse yourself in the magical world of Hogwarts at our in-person event. Hosted by the NYC Harry Potter Meetup, the NY Order of the Phoenix, this is a chance to show off your finest costumes from the wizarding world!

Grab your robes and your wands. We all dress up in various Harry Potter costumes, and meet up in the park to take photos (and hopefully catch the attention of some muggles).

We're going to have a photographer on hand (Nathaniel Lopez) to take legit photos with a camera, but since we all have cameras on our phones, you're only going to be limited by your imagination.

We will be meeting in the scenic Astoria Park, which is next to the East River offering beautiful backdrops of the NYC skyline, and two dramatic bridges for backgrounds. For ease of finding each other, meet on the corner of 19th St and Ditmars Blvd - we should be very easy to spot!

The more of us there are, the better all the photos will be, and the more scenes and character combos we can stage. So we hope you'll come, and bring friends. Whether you're a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw, all are welcome to join us for a day of cosplay and wizardry.
