3:00 - 4:00 pm: Caporales with San Simon Sucre New York

The Caporales is a lively traditional Bolivan Dance the originated in La Paz, Bolivia by the Estrada Brothers. All are invited to learn the Caporales dance steps for large groups!  The main purpose of our dance group is for others to learn about Bolivia but most importantly Caporales. We represent the city of Sucre, Bolivia with the dance of Caporales.

San Simon Sucre New York is a non-profit organization that aims to spread Bolivian culture and folklore through the dance of Caporales. They were founded in the year 2000 and have members from Bolivia and all over the world. San Simon Sucre New York prides themselves in being open to anyone who loves dancing.

Join us to celebrate life, community, and music through powerful movement and joyful energy. Let’s dance, connect, and groove together!

Umami Playground Dance Inc. NYC is a collective of movers who come together to play, explore, make mistakes, and grow. Our dancers, skilled in House, Popping, Tutting, Breaking, Floorwork and Contemporary, fusing styles to create fun work.
