Intro to Pistol Optic Shooting with Kari

The pistol optic shooting course is designed for shooters transitioning from traditional iron sights to a pistol-mounted optic such as a red dot sight (RDS) or those seeking to enhance their proficiency with an RDS-equipped handgun. Participants should have a solid foundation in pistol marksmanship and safe firearm handling. The curriculum focuses on mastering the unique skills required to effectively and efficiently use an RDS in various situations.

- Target Focus Shooting
- Dot Acquisition
- Drawing and presenting handgun
- Zeroing Your Optic
- Course Content:

Classroom instruction: Covers pistol optics, sight acquisition, and zeroing.
Range Training: Hands-on live-fire exercised under expert supervision.

Gear Required:
- Semi-Auto Handgun
- At least 1 spare mag (2 preferred)
- RDS strong side holster (NO pancake or serpa holsters)
- Min of 100 rounds of ammunition (available for purchase in the store)
- Eye and Ear protection (rentals available at no additional charge)
Ages:

Minimum age for group courses is 16yrs, see our private & youth courses for younger ages!
Parents/Legal Guardian(s) must supply ammo/firearms for those under 18yrs or those 18-20yrs shooting a pistol carbine.
