Hi Flyers and those who throw them, get ready for the most holy acro event of the year!
Welcome to Acrophilia - which means “A love of heights“ - taking place on a former church and rectory grounds, where ancient spirituality meets modern flexibility.
We, Kat and Kiljan, give everything to create an acrobatics paradise for you with:
• A crazy-good international teacher team - they will literally take your skills to new heights (more info further down)
• Both outside and inside training spaces. Whether you want to train under the sun, perfect your moves down the aisle in a former sanctuary or do handstands on the altar - you’ll have options galore!
• Longes will be available.
• We’re also most likely adding a sauna to the mix. So after flipping your way through the day, you can melt into bliss and relax in a cloud of steam.
• Delicious vegan food served by a Chef who has years of experience in cooking for acrobats.
When:
11 - 15th of June 2025. Registration opens at 2 PM and a first workshop round will start at 4.30 PM.
Festival ends Sunday at 5:00 PM.
Sleeping arrangements:
• You can snag one of the few indoor sleeping spots (perfect for those who need a roof over the head after flipping upside-down the whole day).
• If you are a vanlifer, park your camper right in front of the rectory (we have 8 slots in front of the Rectory)
• If you're feeling adventurous, bring your tent or hammock and rest in the beautiful garden around the church.
• Sleeping space outside our venue: pension options in Hettstedt and surroundings. Organised by yourself.
So, pack your leotard, your sense of humor, and maybe a piece of chalk if you prefer it a little bit more dry. It's going to be a wild, flippy, and enjoyable acro weekend you won’t forget!

Cata & Jordi - Duofuria:
I am Jordan, but everyone knows as Jordi in the acroyoga community in Chile.
I started in 2014 with circus disciplines (acrobatic cloth, juggling and hand to hand)
In 2017 a friend introduced me to acroyoga and I loved it! I like to practice whip pops, icarians and standing acro. Personally, I really like meeting people and transmitting what I have learned throughout my years of practice.
In the city of Santiago I dedicate myself to giving personalized classes and in small groups.

I am Catalina and I started doing acro in 2016 and I fell in love. In this short period of time I have dabbled in the disciplines like handstands, yoga, acrobatics and partner acrobatics stuff to complement the practice of acro.
The acro really change my life and my way to communicate with others with more listening and love.
Even though now I teach acroyoga, I love to be a student and I can’t wait to live the greats moments that I know that acro can give to my life.

Nenad & Jelena:
NS Acrobalance was formed by Nenad and Jelena in 2016 as a result of mutual work and love for partner acrobatics. As we advance in our own practice through exploring acro on our own, creating choreographies and performing them, learning from others, and also sharing our knowledge, our goal is to make acro approachable for everyone and share all the tips and tricks we learned along the way. We do not specialize in any branch of acro, we love them all, and look forward to sharing what we have with you! :)

Kat & Kiljan:
Kat is a passionate acrobat from Belgium that has a hard time choosing between handstands, icarians, standing acro and whip-pops! She started gymnastics at the age of 6 in a small town club ‘De Greves’ in Hamme.
Following her passion, she obtained her Masters degree in Sports and Movement Sciences as well as her teaching degree in 2016 at the University of Leuven. Afterwards she rolled into the circus-world and has been traveling- teaching – performing around Europe.

Coming from athletics, mountain biking and rock climbing Kiljan is exclusively into teaching, performing and playing acro all over the world in the past years.
Achieving new skills let us all feel empowered – he really loves to be part of the moment in which people surprise themselves accomplishing a new skill that seemed to be out of reach.
