Depuis This Is How I Let You Down (2014), The Franklin Electric transforme les expériences en hymnes. Mené par Jon Matte, le collectif montréalais a donné plus de 450 spectacles partout dans le monde avec, entre autres, Mumford & Sons et Half Moon Run. Leur album Blue Ceilings (2017) mène à une nomination aux Juno. S’ensuivent les EP In Your Head/In Your Heart (plus de 4 M d’écoutes), Never Look Back (nommé à l'ADISQ) et This Time I See It. Après avoir triplé ses auditeurs en 2022, The Franklin Electric revient avec Oh Brother (2023) et Victory Songs Vol.1.
