Jenna Cave - Heartsongs

In the last couple of years, local composer and vocalist Jenna Cave has found herself drawn to writing songs as a powerful means to explore, express and move through her emotional experiences during a period of deep loss and healing.

Following on from her 2024 sextet album “Grief, Hope, Love” featuring Kristin Berardi, Heart Songs is a new and more intimate performance vehicle for her songs. Themes traversed include the intersection of joy and grief, healing, loneliness, maternal love, and the power of hope; presented in contemporary jazz, bluesy, and pop-influenced harmonic settings.
